The PMM is a perfect fit for industrial use. Based on its two-stage design the PMM is a compact machine with the hydraulic unit located right underneath. The press is really easy to install on a simple concrete slab, and requires nothing more than an electrical power supply.

All parts of the machine are readily accessible to ensure optimal operator safety and easy maintenance.

Efficient Hydraulics and Energy Saving

The PMM baler benefits from the very latest advances in hydraulics - the two pressure ramps simultaneously perform compaction and tying/ejection, achieving productivity gains of up to 50%. The latest generation high pressure pumps contribute to reduce the cycle time and energy consumption. Copex has also improved the machine’s soundproofing to ensure a noise level of no more than 80 dB.

Very high density and homogeneity of the bales

The high specific pressing force in the closed chamber of the press produces bales of very high density impossible to obtain with other models of balers. All bales have the same size and density, and do not deteriorate throughout time.

Bale wrapping system

In case a temporary storage of the bales is required before being incinerated in waste-to-energy plants, or if required by the grain size of the materials to process, Copex can propose bale wrapping solutions with plastic film when the bales come out of the press. The wrapping lines work fully automatically.

Adjustable tying system and minimized consumables

The PMM is equipped with a tying system suitable for any type of waste material, in full compliance with the specific requirements of waste recycling plants. The number of ties can be adjusted depending on the type and the grain size of the materials.

For maximum flexibility, the tying unit can work with polyester straps compatible with incineration, or with steel wire. When the bales come out of the ejection chamber, they get optimally tied. The consumables are minimized and the maximal density of the finished baled material can be achieved.

Effluent Collection

The PMM range can be fitted with an effluent collection system - tubs placed underneath the press collect all effluents produced during the compacting process, and drain it away in one central place to the catch basin.

Auxiliary equipment

The baling press PMM can be delivered with a storage conveyor of 5 or 10 m, a bale storage unit, or a trailer loading station.
